Responses
- Tadpoles are seriously effected by toad eggs. All native species seem to be susceptible to this.
- Many invertebrates that eat tadpoles by using a piercing sucker mechanism can successfully eat toad tadpoles. They seem to avoid the toxins which are in the skin layer.
