How long can the metamorphosis from tadpole to frog take? I have a tadpole in a bucket that I have been feeding since the end of the last wet season! He has grown a bit larger and paler but no appendages.

The process of metamorphosis can take different time depending on the frog species and the temperature of the water.
As a rule keeping them warmer is better. Some species can metamorphose in 14 days!! Others can take many weeks.
