Description
Large flat-headed frog, ranging in colour from grey through various shades of brown to dull pink above and white below, except for the throat which may be flecked with brown. Juveniles frequently birght emerald green.
Habits
Nocturnal. A burrowing frog usually seen above ground only after rain.
Habitat
Most common in Monsoon forest but also in open forest, woodland and dry rockland.
Breeding
Early in wet, clumps of eggs are loosely attached to plants in small pools and swamps.

Carnivore, Beetles; grasshoppers; termites and even frogs.
