Bush Tucker garden

Bush Tucker gardens are gardens created for local food plats and not only support biodiversity they provide a great avenue to explore local indigenous knowledge.

A great extension to this is to explore calendar plants and incorporate these into the garden as well.  Calendar palnts are species that are used by indignous knowledge to indicate particular stages of the yearly cycles and also to indicate that particular food sources are available.

Another interesting extension is to include medicinal plants .
