Stone Country Forest Woodland, adjacaent to water; escarpment; open forest.

Notes

There are two subspecies of Partridge Pigeon. The Red-eyed Partridge Pigeon (Geophaps smithii smithii) is found in the Northern Territory, whilst the Yellow-eyed Partridge Pigeon (Geophaps smithii blaauwi) is found in Western Australia. Both subspecies are listed as vulnerable.
