Habits
Diurnal,Strongly territoral, it lives in pairs during the breeding season and is usually solitary when migrating. Nest is a neat cup constructed mainly of bark fragments bound with spiderweb, placed on a horizontal fork or a limb.
Habitat
Woodland Forest Wetlands Coastal regions; and associated mountain ranges; Eucalypt forest and woodland.
Breeding
October to January. 3 eggs; white or faint bluish-white, spotted brown & lavender.
Incubation period 14-15 days, and the young fledge in about 12-15 days. Both sexes cooperate in nest building, incubation, and care of the young.
